(Avalokiteswara is the one who refused to accept Nirvana since he considered such acceptance selfish in view of the great majority of people who have not yet attained that stage. His sacrifice symbolizes infinite compassion [Karuna], sharing of mankind's misery, willingness to help those in distress. He is savior and protector from danger, so his invocation [Mantra] "OM MANI PADME HUM" is found inscribed on rocks, prayer wheels, etc. Avalokiteswara is called Chengresik in Tibet.)

STATUE DETAILS: This brass statue stands 7-1/2 inches tall, is 5-3/8 inches wide, by 2 inches thick (front to back). Weight is 2lb 4.2oz (1025g).

As some may have noticed by now we are in the process of updating and revamping the website. Well the US Postal Service has just raised their rates again, yet as of this time we have only raised the second lowest shipping rate we have by $1.00. ($8.95 to $9.95 - This to cover their Flat Rate Postage only. We still do not charge for boxes, packing material--which does cost us money--or our time so no complaints. Cheers. )

As many of you have already been told, Davian (Dee) has decided to stop doing psychic readings, both public and private for a while, so May's Psychic Fair was her last with us--at least from now through rest of the summer. She may decide to resume in the fall, we shall keep you posted.

Finally, everything cleared customs so our NEPALI FRANKINCENSE INCENSE is back in stock!

That's the good news, the bad, is fact that the weakening US dollar has forced us to raise the prices a bit, so all of the Nepali Dhoop incense line has gone up from$3.00 a bundle to $3.95 a bundle--which is still a HUGE DEAL over those folks who've been charging $9.95 a bundle for past 10 years, right? Right.

Also just out of customs is our 2008 Tibetan Singing Bowl shipment and whew, have we got some fantastic bowls! And now that tax season is done (whew!) as well as we finally got a new digital camera (the other one kicked the bucket two months back) we can update our stock on WWW.TEMPLESOUNDS.NET

From Student Grade to Master Level, give us a good week for photo taking, description write-ups, sound-clip file recordings etc (meaning Melissa doing website HTML bleck!) as we go though hundreds and hundreds of bowl and it'll be worth it...or just come on by to the store (in a few days since many are still wrapped an' packed) for first pick. Not that we ever have all our singing bowls on the web, simply have too many, yet it'll certainly be a nice, virtual selection for all that.

Also, if you are a wholesaler give us a call because we are stocked with some of the best right now--and as usual, even with the US dollar woes, we still charge tons LESS then everybody else for these qualities.

CANDLE BACKORDER

Well, our expected shipment of Double Acting, Reversing, and Triple Action Candles that should have been here March 20th still has not arrived. (Argh!) Meaning all orders placed with us in the last 10 days are still back ordered. A bunch of phone calls made and it looks--with fingers crossed--that the shipment will arrive here around the end of this month. Sorry, and thank you for your patience.
